Week 6 Reflection: A Cupcake for the Teacher, A blog by Teri
Teri is a mother, blogger, crafter, and teacher. Her blog, A Cupcake for the Teacher, is a giant resourse system. All of Teri's blog posts are centered around an activity of some sorts. She usually discusses a good time of year to use the activity, how to use it, and what materials you need. I love reading these posts because it can give you great ideas of things to do in your own classroom. Even if the blog post is not including a freebie, she explains it well enough to where you can recreate it.
Teri's blog is short, sweet, and to the point. She focuses on her intentions and does not try to "fill in" her blog with information that has no connection to her theme. Teri's blog consists of a home page, about me page, crafts page, freebies page, and a shop page. Her shop page takes you to her Teachers Pay Teacher Account. This is where you can purchase off of her well drawn out worksheet and activities that are not listed under the freebies tab.
My favorite aspect of the blog is on the right hand corner where Teri provides us with labels. This is an easy way to get specific ideas with out having to scroll through the blog for a long period of time. Blow are images of all the labels that she provides.
